The Central American Coffee producing countries are Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador and, though not strictly a Central American country, Mexico. The coffees from these areas are generally seen as having a light, bright, clean taste, though richer, more full-bodied tastes can be found too. The fantastic growing conditions found in the Central American mountain ranges, volcanic soil and range of micro-climates mean that this region reliably produces some of the world’s best coffees. This is also why Central American coffees are such an important part of the coffees we offer.
