This is one of 2 naturally processed microlots from the Bwishaza Washing Station in Rwanda. This is an outstanding coffee with berry notes including strawberry, and also some orange character and a lovely toffee-like sweetness.

This coffee works wonderfully as a filter coffee, here is a recipe to use with a V60: 15g of medium grind coffee and 225g of water at 94 degrees (or a minute off of boil), do an initial bloom pour of 50g, leave to sit for 30 seconds, then pour the remaining 175g of water in slow, small concentric circles up to a time of 1 minute 15 seconds. This coffee should brew for a time of 2 minutes 30 seconds total.

This also makes a beautiful long black, we recommend using 19g in and 40g out in 30 seconds total using a Sage espresso machine.

Our Rwanda Inzovu is a fully washed, machine dried coffee from Eastern Rwanda, comprised of more than 25 washing stations and 30,000 farmers. This is an excellent coffee displaying medium/sharp acidity, full body with a sweet taste, faithfully representing the balance and flavour of Rwanda’s finest Coffees.
