Morning Glory Speciality Blend
An award-winning speciality blend of two single-origin beans, roasted to bring out its fullness, distinct zesty orange flavours, and hints of sweetness. A beautiful (and rather cheeky…) start to the day.
We recommend brewing this blend in a cafetiere, although you’ll find it makes a great coffee however you brew it.
Introducing Our Morning Glory Coffee
This exceptional blend is crafted from two single-origin speciality beans sourced from the rich, fertile lands of Central and South America. We have carefully roasted this coffee to create a complex and bright coffee with notes of orange zest, chocolate, and sweet caramel.
We are proud to announce that Morning Glory has once again been recognised with a Great Taste award by the prestigious Guild of Fine Food in 2023. The Great Taste awards are renowned globally as the most coveted food accolades, celebrating the very best in food and drink.
Notably, this outstanding blend also earned a Great Taste star in 2017, when judges hailed it as exceptional. The judges said:
“This has a luscious almost treacly mouth-feel and a lovely smooth finish. This is a real all-day coffee, so well-balanced, with mild citrus flavours but nothing sharp. With milk, it brings out more of the citrus. This is a very approachable coffee.”

Origin Of Central & South American Coffee Beans
The rich history of coffee cultivation in Central and South America is as captivating as the flavours found in each cup. The origins of these coffee beans can be traced back to the early colonial period when coffee plants were first introduced to the region by European settlers. Central American countries such as Guatemala, Honduras, and Costa Rica, as well as South American powerhouses like Brazil and Colombia, have since become renowned for their high-quality coffee production.
These regions boast the ideal combination of altitude, climate, and soil composition, which allows the coffee cherries to develop their unique and complex flavour profiles. The volcanic soil in many areas enriches the beans with nutrients, while the high altitudes and temperate climates ensure a slow, even maturation, imparting intricate notes of fruit, chocolate, and nuts.
At Iron & Fire, our Morning Glory coffee is a harmonious blend that showcases the best of what Central and South American single-origin beans have to offer. By combining two distinctive coffee beans from these regions, we have crafted a blend with a balanced and aromatic profile, perfect for energising your mornings.

Now my go to blend. I love coffees that have a fruity twang and this one certainly delivers. I use an aeropress with 25g of coffee, fill to 4 cups at 85 degs, stir, leave 30 secs then press. I then dilute to 500ml. Perfect start to the morning!

This is the second I&F bag of the three I ordered. The first, a Roaster’s Choice, was excellent. This bag, Morning Glory, I just began two or three days ago. It’s another winner — smooth, sweetish, full-bodied but with a lovely touch of orange zest, especially towards the end of the cut and when cooler, which makes it both satisfying and refreshing.

We often experiment with some of the other great roasts but often return to Morning Glory! Always a great start to the day.

I really enjoyed this one. It’s a great tasting coffee which is great any time of the day not just in the morning.

This is such a good all rounder, I have subscribed to this coffee for over a year now and won’t be changing it any time soon, the best coffee I have ever had so consistent and the flavour is amazing. Every Iron and Fire coffee I have had either at home or out and about is special but this one stands out for me. Truly great coffee and so fortunate that it’s so local……top job!!
