Costa Rica Tarrazu La Pastora

(7 customer reviews)

These beautiful Costa Rican coffee beans are very versatile. A rich, chocolatey coffee with orange and mandarin notes, it works well with all espresso-based drinks.

We recommend drinking this as an espresso, or brewing it with a cafetière. It does work well across all brew methods, though!

Origin Of Tres Nubes Coffee

This is a beautiful speciality Costa Rican coffee bean, carefully roasted to a bespoke profile to bring out a slight nutty flavour with beautiful mandarin and orange notes. It’s a versatile bean and works well through all espresso-based drinks in particular. It’s nice as a long black and with milk, too.

At the heights of the mountains where this Tres Nubes coffee is grown, the same heights at which these farms overlap the clouds, a beautiful landscape and serene atmosphere is created for coffee cultivation. In this valley, lush volcanic soils are mixed with stable temperatures and abundant sunlight throughout the course of the year, shaping the ideal environment to grow coffee.

The farms of this region belong to small, independent farmers whose old fashioned methods produce a coffee of outstanding quality. This coffee is produced by a selected group of coffee farmers on plantations that are well-cared for. These coffees celebrate the natural beauty of the region.

As luck would have it I didn’t waste a bean, I dialled in first time ( amazing in itself) and the coffee awaiting me in the cup blew my taste buds away, it’s lovely ….. I tried both as an Espresso and as a Latte and both were amazing, my preference being towards the latte….once again well done Iron and Fire … this one is a winner for me… thank you guys

Keep coming back to the Costa Rican for an all-round roast. Works well in a cafetiere too. Love going to pick up my coffee at the roastery.

First time trying Iron & Fire products but absolutely love this coffee. Will try the others too but this one was great as an espresso

I really love this coffee. Works well with it without milk. I use this with my sage barista express and can really taste the chocolate and fruity notes.

A rich deep flavour but I have still gone back to Jazz
