Kenyan Mount Kenya AA Coffee
This is a beautiful complex coffee with an intense complex chocolatey body, apricot and blackberry notes. Big, bold, and fruity!
We recommend brewing this up as a pour over, but it is a flexible coffee that can be brewed however you please.

Origin Of Mount Kenyan Coffee
Kenya is famous for exquisite coffees and the mount Kenyan coffees produce a fine example here. Two great Kenyan varietals – SL34 and SL28 – combine to make this Kenyan coffee. A wonderful full-bodied coffee with apricot and berry notes. Grown in the hills of Mount Kenya, this is a very popular speciality grade coffee.
Kenya’s fertile highlands are renowned for producing some of the finest coffees in the world. These areas benefit from volcanic soil, high altitudes, and ideal climate conditions, which contribute to the superior quality of the coffee beans.
Coffee cooperatives in the Mount Kenya region play a vital role in supporting smallholder farmers and driving sustainable coffee production. These cooperatives, often operating washing stations, provide farmers with access to processing equipment, markets, and resources for improving their yields and livelihoods.
The combination of rich soil, ample rainfall, and optimal sunlight creates a perfect environment for cultivating coffee with complex flavours and vibrant brightness.

If there’s one thing this coffee is great at is the consistency. There are more complex coffees by Iron&Fire, but this will come the same consistent taste the first time you open the bag and the last time.

This is a lovely coffee. I have tried it both for espresso based drinks and as a filter. Both were lovely and is a very nice complex flavour.
