I’ve only just started my bag of Santa’s Bean after drinking Costa Rica San Jorge for the past month. San Jorge is a terrific cold weather coffee — fruity but with a spicy, peppery finish (it even has a peppery bouquet, I think). By comparison Santa’s Bean is a lovely, mildly sweet puddingy coffee, comforting and easy-drinking — just what I think may be needed for the dark days of mid-January.

Yet again Iron & Fire exceeds all expectations with its quality and delivery of coffee beans. I tried the Santa Bean speciality blend last year and totally adored it. It’s strong without being bitter and rich with gorgeous tones of chocolate.
When I heard it was taking them off sale for the season ( please make sure you bring them back!) I rushed to order a 1kg bag before they’d gone.

This is my second order from Iron and Fire. The coffee beans here have a nicer, less bitter flavor, than supermarket beans. I’m drinking this blend now, black, as I want to taste the superb flavour.
